Important information for visitors

The exhibition is open from 10/20/2023 to 1/31/2024

Opening hours in October, every day from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

From November 1, the exhibition will be open daily from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Ticket prices vary on weekdays and weekends. During the week (Monday to Thursday), the entrance fee is reduced. On weekends and public holidays, entry is at the normal price. Weekend means Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

On December 24, 2023, the park is closed.

The visitor buys a ticket for the given month and must also choose whether they want to visit our exhibition on weekdays (Monday - Thursday) or on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and on public holidays. The ticket is not tied to a specific day. However, it is necessary to use the ticket in the month in which it was purchased and to respect the distribution into weekdays and weekends + public holidays.

During the week (Monday to Thursday), the entrance fee is reduced. If you want to take advantage of reduced attendance and a freer visit without waiting, we recommend visiting the exhibition on these days.

Weekends and holidays generally mean higher numbers of visitors to the area. On these days you can take cruises on the Vltava aboard an illuminated cruise ship.

A gift certificate is included with each online ticket. Simply print and add the recipient's name.

Sightseeing boat cruise on the Vltava

Board a decorated Christmas boat for a unique cruise on the Vltava. Boarding

We sail every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The cruise lasts approximately 60 minutes. Arrival and departure always take place at the Spa Jaune, as part of the Lights tell.

The first trip will take place on Friday November 3, 2023.

Boarding tickets

The boarding pass is linked to the purchase of a ticket for the Light Tells exhibition, online and at the ticket office in the Žluté lázně district. Cannot be purchased separately without an exhibition ticket. If you already have tickets for the exhibition, it is possible to purchase additional boarding passes at the exhibition box office.

How to access the exhibition?

You can access the neighborhood by tram number 17, 2, 3 or 21 to the Dvorce stop.

Car park

It is possible to park at the indicated locations in front of the Žluty lázně complex on Podolského nábřeží street. The resort parking lot itself is not used during the winter season.

Barrier-free entry / entry with stroller

You can easily access the area even with a stroller, the main entrance and the entire area is wheelchair accessible.

Entrance with a dog

The dog is allowed to enter our premises. However, for the sake of safety and with regard to children, it is necessary that your four-legged companion be kept on a leash and fitted with a muzzle. The owner is responsible for their dog and is required to clean up after them if they leave anything on the premises.

Refreshment

It is prohibited to consume your own food, drinks or alcohol on site.

Snacks and drinks can be purchased at bistro stands in the area.

Visitors that enter inside the area of the event “Lights Tell” agree and are obligated to follow these listed rules:

Obligations of visitors:  

• Entry at your own risk.
• To enter the area please use the main entrance to the Zlute lazne. Tickets are available directly at the cash desk or on our official website of the event “The light tells the story…” 
• Every visitor is obligated to show an official entrance QR ticket. 
• Be considerate to other visitors. Do not destroy or otherwise treat the lighting installations, the property inside the area or others. Keep the area clean. 
• Every visitor is obligated to follow the instructions of the organizer, or a person represented by the organizer such as the security service or the members of emergency services. (ex. police, firefighters etc.) 
• Dogs must be leashed and be wearing a muzzle under the observation of the owner.  
• In case of an emergency, visitors are to follow the instructions of the organizer or emergency services. 
• Parents are responsible for children's behavior and have the full responsibility for them within the whole time spent in the area until leaving it. 
• In case of icy pavements or other roads, please mind the risk. Mind the snow and ice on other flats such as roofs, trees, or the installations themselves. 

Prohibitions:

• It is strictly forbidden to swim in the river. 
• To climb on trees, touch or in any other manner manipulate with the light installations. 
• To carry weapons of any kind inside the area, as well as objects that might be used or considered a weapon. 
• To carry drugs or other toxic substances inside the area. 
• To bring your own food or drinks. 
• To carry pressure vessels. 
• To enter parts inside the area that aren't determined for visitors. 
• Use open fire. 
• To throw away waste or cigarette butts outside the designated places. 
• To destroy or damage any facilities and equipment inside the area, including damaging things by labeling, sticking, or spraying them. 
• Enter attractions under the influence of alcohol or other substances. 
• Deliberately damage or tamper with safety or fire protection devices, as well as water or electricity distributions.
• In case of any injury please contact the organizer of the event “The light tells the story.”

 QR code tickets:    

• Every visitor will receive a ticket with a special QR code on it. This ticket allows the visitor to enter the area within opening hours of the area. The visitor is free to leave the area whenever. The ticket is for a single use entrance. 
• In case of invalid QR code, the visitor will not be allowed to enter the area. 

Liability for damages and consequences of violation of the operating rules:

• In case of violation of operating rules by the visitor, the organizer is allowed to enforce the damages according to relevant legal regulations, including any lost profit. (ex. canceling an event) The organizer may issue a fine. 
• In case of a visitor being under the influence of alcohol or any other toxic substance, the visitor thereby assumes all responsibility. 
• In case of a serious violation of operating rules, the organizer is allowed to expel the visitor outside the area. 
• The visitor is obligated to enable a check of compliance of the operating rules if asked by the organizer or a person authorized by the organizer, (such as the security service).  
• In case of violation of the rules stated here, the organizer or persons authorized by the organizer are entitled to expel the visitor from the area. The visitor is obligated to leave the area at the request of the organizer or an authorized person.
